- It was painful to watch Windrunner try to solo top. Terrible match up against Drow, especially early on
- i'm a bit disapointed by the graphics looks to much like hon or lol .. i mean the main idea of it is like that ... i was hoping it would be compeletly different.LOL has really childish graphics it looks like it was meant to be played by 8 year old kids. A bit of that idea remains here sadly.my idea of it is a harsh and rugged look. These heroes are battle worn and i don't think they are supposed to look like colorful toys.

- picking and banning is only really for tournaments and 5v5 premade games. There are different modes like all pick, all random, choose between one of three random heroes, etc

- @Secretclone1542 i suppose an easier way to say it is like this (or at least i find it easier this way):say you know the enemy team is REALLY good with certain characters. then you ban the characters that they are good with to get an advantage but you cant pick those characters either!then picking is getting a character that isn't banned yet. i don't think picked characters can get banned which is why they have them in such an odd order.

- This is what I'm getting into. I've always wanted to try a DOTA style game, and I really couldn't take LoL or HoN seriously, especially given the fact that they were just taking an idea and running with it. But this is Icefrog, this it the sequel, with Valve's backing and Icefrog's creativity and vision ontop of the guy's who made Half-Life, CS:S, The Source Engine. I mean come on... no contest. DOTA 2 hands down.

- @Kondoriano2 The game is already done and ready to be played, although normal players do not have the access to the game yet. - @AdrianNg23 actually i had heard that while the game is ready to be played there are tons of characters that are not yet in the game! i would guess that it would have already been released if they were really done with the game by now but they are still trying to add in characters! i hope this game does well, but i don't see how it could stand much of a chance without going f2p
- @Kondoriano2 These are pro teams from the original DotA currently playing a one million dollar tournament at gamescon (i believe?) and the matches are all being live streamed on the site. these are replays.

- @Qualjak All of the heros and their skills are nearly exact replicants of the original heros in Dota. Dota is extremely balanced and Valve almost has nothing to do with the hero changes. They've basically created the engine, and the graphics while Icefrog (The original maker of Dota, whom they hired) works on the hero mechanics and balancing issues.
- @sen92furk8 Contrary, some buffs and nerfs are evident. I heard from my addicted friend that the area of Rylai's ultimate is bigger and some Skills travel farther or are quicker (Such as beastmaster's axe throw). But i wouldnt really notice that

- @PureAngusRush The reason some of the heroes are the same is because S2 had to ask permission to port over heroes to heroes of newerth from dota... DotA 2 is in no way a remake of LoL or HoN..

- sigh, I was looking for a Unique style of art for dota 2, since they would have full control over the look of the game, but this looks just like HoN down to the simplest of details. This is why I like LoL so much more, it gets rid of all the distracting overdone art and replaces it with a very simplistic design that I can actually look at without feeling lost .

- @battleground007 it's smoke of deceit, it makes nearby ally heroes to become invisible and gain movement speed for about 60sec. And you'll be visible again if an enemy hero is beyond specific range..

- Watching this video the things I noticed most were the sound effects I could recognise from previous Valve titles.

- I don't get it. I watched 1;40 and then somone's avatar pops up in the ban section. this is obviously something very esoteric. Why does staring at a hardly changing menu get so much attention? I suppose I could click later in the video, but why should I do that? The author just duped me into watchin 1:40 of nothing. I'm gonna need a reason now to give them more.
